Finishing touches include hand painted and engraved details, and a tiny sparkling rhinestone eye on each bird.

If you have ever visited Pasadena California and heard a sudden shrieking, it may be a flock of little green parrots flitting past!  Making their way across blue skies dotted with swaying palm trees these noisy birds make their presence known. While the origin of these non native birds is somewhat of a mystery, their daily migrations have become a familiar sight.

The Pasadena collection: Pasadena Claw, Pasadena French Barrette, and Green Parrot Alligator Clip Set is inspired by the very vocal green parrots that flock across the skies of Pasadena California, making their presence known wherever they go. Each unique design is cut from cellulose acetate, and meticulously assembled by hand to create a durable and timeless hair claw. Form and function are carefully considered, ensuring your claw is as wearable as it is beautiful.
